Doc Martins: Another Post!

So when I saw the popularity of the Doc Martin post I did earlier last year, I thought I’d throw another one up here! I have to say, I still think that Doc Martin shoes are by far one of the best pair of boots in the world and to be quite frank, when you own a pair of these amazing boots, you don’t need anything else! No, really! Whether you work in a factory or if you are just trying to look cool, Doc Martins will definitely take care of your feet and certainly last you a very long time!

Take this simple pair of black boots – that is actually my pair of black Doc Martins and well, I think that they freakin’ amazing! Not only are these Doc Martins in fantastic shape, but they are also one of my favorite pair of boots! Yet, you can’t tell because they aren’t even worn down!

So if you are looking for a pair of very reliable and ‘always be there for you’ boots, why not pick yourself up a pair of Doc Martins! They aren’t just for the teenagers anymore folks, they are for everyone an d anyone that is looking to save a little money on their footwear!

ADIDAS boots … really?

So I was doing some research for this blog and I ran across a website that shows all the most popular shoes/boots in the UK. Well, I came across a pair of boots that I thought everyone would get a kick out of, ADIDAS (no, not the Korn song!) came out with some ‘fashionable’ boots that are apparently, extremely popular in the UK! These boots come up about mid-calf, have a touch and close fastening system and are made of leather.

Now honestly, you guys, my faithful readers need to leave me some comments about these with your opinions because seriously? If this is fashionable, I am good with just lugging around my Doc Martins that I have had since I was in grade school (no! I am not that young, it was a joke!).

Oh, oh! And to top it off, these ADIDAS boots run small, it states right on the website that you need to order yourself one size bigger – well, if they charge by the size than that sucks for all of us with huge feet! So really – let me know your thoughts on these because honestly? I give them a great big ol’ thumbs DOWN!

Now, this has to be said: the old-school Doc Martins are freaking amazing! Seriously … do you remember the nineties? We all know that you owned a pair and when you ‘grew up’ you stashed those metallic purple boots in the back of your closet. Well, it is time to drag them out, because England is not the only place that Doc Martins are popular anymore, these boots are popping up everywhere! From the red carpet all the way to the street, Doc Martins are absolutely the greatest and most indestructible boots on the market today.

If you are one of the few people (like me) that do not own a pair of these fantastic boots, it is pretty obvious that we are not exactly with the times. Doc Martins, as you are see are a fashion staple, a lot of the newest fashion designers are incorporating Doc Martins into their collections to add a bit off flare to their show.

So there you have it! There are the many reasons for you to get yourself (and me to get mine) a pair of Doc Martins! They are by far worth the money that you spend on them and you will see that they will – seriously, last for-freaking-ever!
