The look put together by Natalie was certainly captivating what with the red gown on the red carpet. The Swarovski crystals on it shone and made it look all the more festive. But, what really set the entire look apart were the wonderful shoes from Charles David shoes. The shoes were gorgeous and went perfectly with the red resemblance although they were in silver. This was aptly matched with a Christian Dior bag. This kind of showcases the trend that is going to be seen this winter in shoes of different colors especially the metallic range. The metallic range of shoes in silver, gold and copper have always been huge hits and they can set off a monochromatic outfit in black, red or beige like nothing else can. This is aptly seen in the way Natalie dazzled on the red carpet.

Jessica Alba on the other hand accessorized really well and let her shoes and figure do the talking. The short black dress from Valentino teamed up with the lace up Ferragamo shoes and the clutch was straight out of the movies and made her look fabulous. The overall look that was created with the black shoes was super sexy what with the high heels accentuating her long never ending legs and the pencil toe stilettos. The black cutout design paired up with the metallic nail enamel on her toes was sure an attention getter like none other. She certainly looked dazzling and trendy and went on to prove that black will remain the top favored color this winter too.

Kate Gosselin wore a wonderful black dress and matched it perfectly with Valentino shoes. Tina Fey wore a dress that was just right for her wonderful figure, a wonderful silk organza gown. This was perfectly matched with the most wonderful of Guiseppe Zanoti shoes.

Kim Kardashian looked dashing in a greek goddess like gown in off-white and the highest of heels possible. Lea Michele who was termed as the best dressed of all the ladies that evening wore a gown and teamed it up wonderfully with Brian Atwood shoes.

What was certainly seen that high heeled shoes ruled the roost and they made the perfect accompaniment with the gowns and dresses? You might be surprised to note that some of these outfits along with the shoes could cost you as much as buying a house for yourself.

January Jones went on to add a whole lot of color to her wardrobe. She teamed up black velvet shoes with a deep blue outfit. The shoes were the typical pumps with high heels. What most women tried to create was the classy and classic look. Some of them succeeded whereas the rest didn’t. Kim Kardashian looked stunning and she has been voted as the best dressed woman at the Emmy.

One pair of shoes that didn’t go down well with the audience was Tom Hank’s partner’s Rita Wilson’s crystal laden shoes. They were shockingly different and the kind that not many women would want to wear.

Actress Evageline Lilly was seen in a almost similar blue but this time round it was certainly from the best of shoe craftsman Christian Louboutin. The peep a boo red soles that are so very Christian Louboutin could certainly never have been missed and the classic peep a toe kind of look with the cleavage like arch of the foot made these shoes a definite must have. Notice, the way they made her legs appear long and slender and never ending. The kind of legs women would gorge eyes out for. Sarrah Forrester too opted to go the classic way in high heeled stilettos from the house of Christian Louboutin with the red soles perfectly matching the red carpet that she trod on that night.

Then there was Hofit Golan who decided to be different and innovative. She matches her stripes red and silver with a perfectly net pair of boots that gave her fee an exotic nude look. The high pointed heels and the open toe in the front with her painted red toe nails made sure that she put her best foot forward. This was certainly a good creative fashion style statement and is bound to set the trend for the next round of shoes this season. Cannes, this year, was the place for the best of shoes.

So honestly, I have done so many different blogs about shoes, I figured I would throw in some twists and put up some shoe contests!  In this world, especially now-a-day, we are all constantly looking for ways to get something for free and honestly, what better way to get something for free than a contest!  The first one ladies is specifically for wedding shoes, but I think that even wedding shoes can be worn with anything!

So I have to tell you this – pom pom boots are some of the most comfortable boots in the world!  It is like you are walking around in slippers and no one complains that you are not dressed correctly!  They are fur-lined, suede usually and lace up but are loose!  Basically, there are no soles to speak of so these boots will mold to your feet specifically.  When you slip these pretty boots on for the first time, you will see just what I am talking about and of course, I encourage all kinds of comments on just how comfortable these pom poms are and how much you love them.
Another great thing about these boots is that they can go with anything at all!  Jeans, tee shirts, skirts, dresses and really anything else you have in your closet.  No matter what you wear, if you throw on a pair of pom poms, you will be stylin’ it up!
