This guy surprises me every time I look at some of his shoes! Now personally, I hate gold. I am not a fan of the color, the way it shimmers, shines, moves, nothing. These shoes though, these shoes are actually very appealing, look great and if any guy would be caught dead in them, it would be a gay guy. Although these shoes would look great on any feet, a gay man’s foot is probably the only type of foot that can carry this shoe off.
Okay, so I am a huge, huge fan of American Next Top Model and I am a giant fan of Prada shoes. Therefore, I love when Prada comes out with their Prada shoe line in the form of a runway show and that is what we are going to view here. A Prada shoe show that a model falls down at! Oh my god, now I know that the shoes that these models have to walk in are terrible and hurtful and just downright hard to walk in, but you would think that a model that was picked, specifically to walk and model the ever-so-beautiful Prada shoes would … you know … be able to walk?
We women spend so much time and money fitting ourselves into shoes with spiky heels and that usually end up killing our feet. Well, many designers have taken that into consideration and Alexander McQueen is one of them. He designed a beautiful looking shoe that surprise! has absolutely no heel on it and is completely flat on the bottom. Flat shoes usually are not flattering and that is the reason so many women do not purchase them and never, ever want to wear them. Well, McQueen has changed all that with his beautiful flat shoe!
The attention to detail in this flat is simply amazing, it sparkles, shines and looks amazing on any foot! The gold lining inside is a surprise and the jewels on top are beautiful. So why are we wasting our time with pumps again? Oh yeah, to look dangerous and deadly – if you are looking to change up your look a little bit, go ahead! Get AMQ’s new flat!
So honestly, I have never heard of Alexander McQueen before I took a look at these beautiful booties, but I actually checked out his website and I found that he is freaking amazing! These booties are just one pair of booties that are simply breath-takingly beautiful and will look fabulous with anything from a jersey dress all the way to a pair of jeans.
While the crystal booties are being released in spring ’09, I did however find a beautiful pair of booties that was released in fall of ’08. Check these out!
The preppy look never dies, honestly – it doesn’t, I have tried to kill it but it just keeps getting revived and while that sucks for me, many people do love the fact that preppy’s are still around and you can still purchase classic shoes like a pair of penny loafers. Designers have picked up on the penny loafer trend as well and celebrities have gone absolutely nuts!

So while there may not be one single shoe that is the absolute best of 2008, there are a few note-worthy shoes that have made it onto the charts. For instance, high heels – in any form, any designer, anything have been flying off the shelves for the entire year of ’08 and there have been record sales in many different shoe warehouses for Crocs.
Now seriously – this is going to be the post on Sex in the City shoes, but really, don’t you just love reading about the newest and latest shoe model that Carrie has worn? Well – I do! This shoe is totally breathtakingly beautiful and to be honest, Manolo Blahnik knew exactly what they were doing when they came out with this royal blue pump. The embellishment of this shoe is simply awesome and the color can go with anything from jeans all the way to business attire.
So I am not sure how many of you saw the Sex in the City movie, but I did – four times actually and I have no idea how I missed these beauties, but I did and honestly? I’m sad that I did not notice them in the movie itself. Apparently, Carrie rocked them when she and Big were together in the very beginning of the movie! Anyway, these are the Christian Dior Black Extreme Pumps and while they may be expensive, they still look very awesome.
So honestly, I love Victoria Beckham. I think she is so freakin’ stylish it is almost a sin, but in these two photos? Have you ever seen VH1’s Celebrity Eye Candy? She looks like a flippin’ alien and while we are not focused on her outfit in this blog (have you seen it though!?) we are going to focus on those shoes. Not only are the shoes completely and utterly terrible, but they are super shiny, super bulky and just all around freakin’ ugly!
