The best of shoes are showcased at the Oscars and so was it this year too. However, it is actually quite criminal, that such lovely pieces are hidden beneath long overflowing gowns. But, this year the Best Actress Nominee, got to have her cake and eat it too. Carey Mulligan went ahead and wore a dress that was trailing at the back but tucked up in the front. And this was the perfect style to showcase her Prada shoes.

Jennifer Lopez almost followed the same style. She wore the most fabulous silver Ferragamo pumps and teamed it along with the most fabulous Armani Prive bubble wrap style dress that was able to showcase her feet and shoes to the maximum. She was able to stand out in this dress and shoes like the perfect celebrity diva and more so she looked uber-chic and sophisticated.

It was actually quite a surprise to see Jennifer Lopez in these shoes after she had voiced her love for Christian Louboutins.

The Oscars are known for their extravagance and the stars did not disappoint us. They had worn the best of gowns and the most fabulous of shoes to go with them.

Then, we had Meryl Streep in the most beautiful Jimmy Choo shoes which must have set her back by almost $900. She was able to balance herself perfectly on her five feet plus wonderful looking heels.

Then there was Mariah Carey in her best looking Christian Louboutin shoes that spelled perfection all the way. The nude color of the season was matched perfectly with her blue gown.

Wearing almost a similar color in shoes was Anna Kendrick in the most towering shoes made by Sergio Rossi called Suede Birdcage sandals. The perfect match for the rose colored princess pink gown that she had on.
